About ECC
Founded in 1967 by the present owners, ECC has continued to grow and change with
market demands. Originally founded as a distribution company, ECC started to supply
custom fabricated control panels to meet the needs of our customers. The custom-control
panel business grew to a full time operation. ECC returned to distribution with the
development of the supply division, ECC Supply, in the early 1990's. The combination
of Electric Controls Company and ECC Supply provides a powerful resource to our clients.
ECC maintains a dedicated engineering staff that provides in-house design of control
systems, SCADA systems, PLC and Man Machine Interface (MMI) programming and field startup
services. Our panel shop is staffed by quality craftsmen from the International Brotherhood
of Electrical Workers (IBEW). Field startup assistance is available as required.
Quality is a primary goal at Electric Controls Company. ECC uses only the finest quality
products in the fabrication of our control systems. The quality requirement runs throughout
our entire process, from quotation preparation to field startup. Our clients appreciate this
quality as shown by our high percentage of repeat business.
ECC engineers are continually trained on new and developing technology. When this technology
has developed a proven "track record", ECC will incorporate it into our system designs. Working
with companies such as ABB, Eaton-Cutler Hammer, General Electric and Motorola, ECC has the
resources to provide our customers with robust and current technology.
SCADA technology continues to develop, offering end users more and more capabilities.
Electric Controls Company's capabilities were recognized by
Motorola in 1990 when ECC and Motorola signed a VAR
(Value Added Reseller) agreement. The association has been very successful
with MOSCAD SCADA now representing a large percentage of our engineered product.
